3rd Annual Blast from the Past starts in:

 

Thanks once again goes out to the Helena area residents and all of the car show participants for another great year. The 2nd annual Blast from the Past Car Show and Drags was a success. The success of this car show hinges on the particpants and the publics' support for such an event. The participants have poured themselves into the vehicles they put on display, and are quit proud of them as they should be. Tales are told, comraderie built, knowledge shared, and enthusiasm sparked. We here at the Helena Valley Timing Association want to say how proud we are of the cars, the participants, and the unending support. We look foreward to seeing you all again this year for another great show.

As time draws nearer to the car show date more and more information is coming in. Sponsors are getting in line, Vendors are securing their spots, and cars are getting registered. With this abundance of activity, the association feels it is time to have bi-monthly meetings. The Helena Valley Timing Association will be having a meeting on the 1st and 3rd tuesdays of the month. In May this would be the 6th and the 20th. In June this would be the 3rd and the 17th. We look forward to seeing all the members at these meetings so we can get the "worker" slots filled up, and all the details ironed out.

We would like for all members to bring old hot rod t-shirts to the next meeting so the handmade hot rod quilt can be made. The quilt has become one of the staples of the car show. One of a kind items are hard to come by and this years quilt looks to just that. So please bring all the old hot rod t-shirts you can spare.

Bring a friend to the meetings if you know one that might be interested to join the club. We are always looking for good people to fill our ranks. So if you know someone, bring them to the next meeting.
